Claudia A. Sgro

Law Practice

Claudia practices in the areas of estate planning, administration and litigation including will, trust and incapacity planning; advice to executors and trustees; and estate litigation and alternative dispute resolution. 

O'Sullivan Estate Lawyers is named one of Canada's "Top 5 Trusts & Estates Law Boutiques" by Canadian Lawyer.

Claudia holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto, an M.A. from York University, and a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School.  She was called to the Bar in 2011.  While at Osgoode Hall Law School, she was recognized for academic excellence in business tax and personal tax law, and the combined subject area of tax, estate and trust law.

Prior to joining O'Sullivan Estate Lawyers, Claudia was employed as a summer student with the Ministry of the Attorney-General, Office of the Children's Lawyer, and she articled as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
 

Professional Activities and Publications

Claudia is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (Canada) and a member of the Ontario Bar Association's Trusts and Estates Section.

Claudia has co-authored articles appearing in the Windsor Review of Law and Social Issues, and the Canadian Family Law Quarterly (forthcoming).  She was an invited speaker at a colloquium on equality law.
