Barbara graduated from the Legal Assistant program of Centennial College in May 1992. She is an Associate Member of The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario and she received her designation as a Specialist, Trust Institute from The Institute of Canadian Bankers in July, 2003. While completing the courses towards her Specialist designation, she was awarded The Al Gloebel Award, sponsored by Scotiatrust, for achieving honours and receiving the highest mark for Estate and Trust Administration Level 1. Barbara was also awarded The Conrad Harrington Award, sponsored by RBC Investment – Trust Services for achieving the highest honours result in the advanced Personal Trust examinations.
