Overview
Namratha’s practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, and advising executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and attorneys for property and for personal care on matters directly related to these areas of the law. Namratha approaches estate matters with compassion and creativity. Equally important, she listens carefully to learn each client’s needs and wishes, to provide them with tailored advice and guidance geared specifically to their unique situation.
Prior to joining O’Sullivan Estate Lawyers LLP, Namratha summered, articled and practiced for several years at a boutique family and estates law firm in Toronto and has an understanding of key overlapping issues in these areas of law. These include: domestic contracts, preparing wills and estate plans for blended families, and the effects of separation and divorce on beneficiary and executor designations.
Before immigrating to Canada in 2018, Namratha worked in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a boutique full-service law firm and assisted clients with estate planning matters giving her an understanding of Sharia law as it relates to estate planning for Muslims and non-Muslims resident in Dubai.
Namratha is working toward her full accreditation as a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), a designation conferred by STEP Canada.
Namratha is a trained Indian classical dancer and enjoys dancing in her spare time. She also enjoys pickleball, indoor rock climbing, and hiking when the Toronto weather permits!
